Portland Oregon Recreation and City Guide

Portland Oregon has been referred to as the greenest city in the United States. In fact, Portland won
SustainLane's 2008 City Rankings for being the most sustainable city in the nation. Portland's recreation, restaurants, museums, lakes, and rivers is enough to do portland oregon recreational activities. Only In Portland will you find such a diverse crowd of people all sharing such a "down to earth" mentality. Portland Oregon also offers a diverse list of recreational activities for both locals and visitors alike. Portland is the home of many cultures which has also provided our city with a wide variety of shopping and dining. 

                Approximately two million people in the Portland metropolitan area and is Oregon's most populous city. We have been striving toward the goal of being a "20 minute city" where anything you need to get or want to do is only 20 minutes away. It's not a suprise that our city is becoming so popular being that it has some of the best shopping, dining, recreational activities, rivers, lakes, and scenic views in the Pacific Northwest. Not to mention there is no sales tax in Oregon. 

The Portland metropolitan area consist of many cities which include the following: Hillsboro, Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin, Gresham, Clackamas, Gladstone, Milwaukie, Oregon City, Troutdale, West Linn, Sherwood, Damascus, King City, Lake Oswego, and Wilsonville in Oregon and Vancouver, Washougal, Camas, and Battle Ground in Washington.
